Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which you agree to engage with and participate in any services, programmes, or digital content provided by Siobhan Strode (“we”, “us”, or “the Company”). Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing or participating in any of our services.

  1. About Us

Siobhan Strode provides mentoring, advocacy consulting, campaign strategy, training, and leadership support for individuals and organisations. These Terms apply to all services offered through this website or otherwise delivered by Siobhan Strode.

2. Definitions

    1. Client: The individual purchasing or participating in services.

    2. Services: Programmes, sessions, content, and communications provided by the Company.

    3. Programme: Structured services such as “This Sister Speaks”, “Speak Up Sessions”, or “Speak Up Strategy Day”.

    4. Third-Party Platform: External services used for content delivery (e.g., Zoom, WhatsApp, Facebook).

    5. Community: Any digital or live space where participants interact with each other.

    6. Content: All materials, videos, documents, and resources shared by the Company.

3. Booking and Payment

    1. Prices for services will be clearly indicated at the point of purchase. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

    2. Full payment must be made upon booking unless a payment plan is offered and agreed in writing.

    3. Where a payment plan is agreed, initial payment must be made before commencement of services. Late or missed instalments may result in suspension of access.

    4. We reserve the right to review and adjust prices periodically. Clients will be notified in writing at least 30 days before any changes.

    5. Discounted rates may be offered at our sole discretion. These are non-transferable and may be withdrawn at any time.


4. Cancellations and Refunds

    1. Due to the digital and capacity-sensitive nature of our services, all bookings are final and non-refundable unless required by law.

    2. If you are unable to attend a booked session or programme, please notify us in writing. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, we are not obliged to reschedule or offer a refund.

    3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a service for any reason. In such instances, Clients will be offered a full refund (minus a deposit and admin fees) or suitable alternative.


5. Community Conduct

    1. Participation in group spaces (e.g., programmes, workshops, or online communities) is subject to the following community standards:

      1. Treat all participants with respect and professionalism.

      2. Maintain confidentiality — what is shared in the group should stay in the group.

      3. No discriminatory, harmful, or offensive language or behaviour will be tolerated.

      4. Bring clarity and honesty to contributions, including when seeking or offering support.

      5. Respect the emotional and intellectual labour of others.

    2. Breaches of these standards may result in removal from the community or service, without refund.


6. Content and Intellectual Property

    1. All materials provided (including video, written resources, and downloadable content) are owned by Siobhan Strode unless otherwise stated.

    2. Materials are provided for personal use only. Clients must not share, reproduce, distribute, or repurpose any content without prior written permission.

    3. Use of content for commercial or public purposes is strictly prohibited unless licensed.


7. Third-Party Platforms

    1. We may deliver Services via third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, WhatsApp, Facebook). Clients are responsible for creating accounts and complying with each platform’s terms.

    2. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or data protection policies of any third-party platforms used.

    3. We reserve the right to change or update platforms used for content delivery.


8. Communications

    1. By signing up for any service, you consent to receive essential communications regarding your booking.

    2. Marketing communications (e.g., newsletters or promotions) are optional, and you may unsubscribe at any time.


9. Data and Privacy

    1. We process data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.

    2. We will never sell or share your personal data without explicit consent.


10. Limitation of Liability

    1. Services are provided on an “as-is” basis. No guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes.

    2. We do not offer legal, medical, or financial advice. Clients are responsible for their own decisions and actions.

    3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant service.


11. Amendments

    1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the website or email.

    2. Continued use of the services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


12. Governing Law

    1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
